2019년에 산업안전보건법이 28년만에 개정이 되고, 2022년에는 중대재해처벌법이 제정 시행됨에 따라, 대한민국의 국민은 누구나 안전이라는 단어에 관심을 기울이고 있습니다.
이렇게 안전에 대한 관심이 증폭되는 과정에서 정부는 특히 중소기업에 대하여 안전사고 방지 등 안전역량향상을 집중 지원하고 있습니다. 한편, 다양한 산업분야에서 AI를 비롯하여 첨단 디지털 스마트 장비 및 기술 등이 나날히 발전하고 있는 이 시점에 이런 스마트 산업과 안전을 융합시켜 상호 시너지를 발휘할 수 있도록 하는데 첨병 역할을 하도록 사단법인 대한스마트안전협회가 창립하게 되었습니다.
대한스마트안전협회의 설립 목적은 대한민국의 산업발달과 국위선양입니다.
이를 위해 협회는 해외의 우수제품과 사용규정 등을 입수 분석하고 안전제품의 생산과 사용에 대한 표준을 국내실정에 맞추어 정의하고, 이를 토대로 회원사들을 통해 연구개발을 진행하여 세계최고의 제품 개발 및 생산을 추진하고자합니다.
협회는 안전제품의 표준화를 위해서 생산 자재의 품질확보, 구조안전성검토연구,
국내 및 해외 우수제품과 교육자료들을 지속 발굴 후 최선의 방안을 도출하여 산업안전공단과 협의 후 고용노동부의 승인을 받아 최소한의 안전성이 확보된 국내표준제품들을 협회 회원사들이 제작 생산토록 지원함으로써 세계 최고의 안전제품을 생산하여 산업재해예방과 국가경제발전에 기여할 것입니다.
또한, 이 모든 활동의 기반을 구축하기 위하여 각종 필요법안과 제도를 국회와 정부에 건의하고, 설득하는 역할에 최선을 다할 것이며, 상설 부서를 설치하여 회원사들의 각종 애로사항과 개선 요구사항을 지속적으로 청취하고 해결해나가는데 최선의 노력을 경주하겠습니다.

As the Occupational Safety and Health Act was revised in 2019 for the first time in 28 years, and the Serious Accident Punishment Act was enacted and implemented in 2022, all citizens of the Republic of Korea are paying attention to the word safety.
As interest in safety increases, the government is providing intensive support to small and medium-sized businesses in particular to improve their safety capabilities, including preventing safety accidents. The Korea Smart Safety Association is playing a role in creating synergy by converging smart industry and safety at a time when AI and other cutting-edge digital smart equipment and technologies are developing day by day in various industrial fields.
The purpose of establishing the Korea Smart Safety Association is to develop Korea’s industry and promote national prestige.
To this end, the association will obtain and analyze overseas excellent products and usage regulations, and define standards for the production and use of safe products in accordance with domestic circumstances. In addition, based on this, we plan to conduct research and development through member companies to promote the development and production of the world’s best products.
In order to standardize safety products, the association secures the quality of production materials, conducts structural safety review research, and continues to discover excellent domestic and overseas products and educational materials. In addition, we plan to develop a domestic standard product with minimum safety by deriving the best plan, consulting with the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, and receiving approval from the Ministry of Employment and Labor. The developed products will contribute to the prevention of industrial accidents and national economic development by producing the world’s best safety products by supporting the production of the association’s member companies.
In addition, in order to build the foundation for all of these activities, we will do our best to propose and persuade the National Assembly and the government on various necessary bills and systems. In addition, we will establish a permanent department and do our best to continuously listen to and resolve member companies’ various difficulties and requests for improvement.
